CalaverasGROWN is a countywide marketing and education program to assist local agricultural producers market their products. The goal is to bring communities together for the support and growth of agriculture, agri-tourism, and preservation of open space in Calaveras County. A beautiful promotional combination piece, "Farm Trails Map" and "Reasons for the Seasons" has been developed and was distributed to 18,000 homes in Calaveras and Amador Counties. This colorful piece shows how many products are produced right here in Calaveras County and explains the time of year when these are typically available. We are hoping to list every single agricultural producer, agriculture related business, and all agricultural supporters in Calaveras County in the next edition. Agricultural producers, markets, wineries, lodging providers, and restaurants are encouraged to join and use the beautiful promotional materials that have been developed.
